Caitlin Smith is a Licensed Social Worker through the State of New Jersey. She received her Master's Degree in Social Work from Monmouth University. Caitlin has an extensive background of over 13 years working with single mothers, first time mothers, and women in crisis. Her positions have primarily focused on working with parents facing homelessness, trauma, addiction, parenting struggles, and mental health struggles. Caitlin is focusing now on working with women as they enter into motherhood. Motherhood does not start and end with pregnancy, it is the journey getting there, having your child, living through the postpartum period, and into parenthood. Support should be wrapped around all pieces of the motherhood puzzle, as it is not a linear journey for everyone.
Caitlin utilizes person-centered and solution focused approaches, while providing a safe space with support, compassion, and understanding. Caitlin is a mother to three young children and brings her experience, empathy, and support to everyone working towards their family goals and personal goals with a strengths based perspective.
