Hi! My name is Marielle and my passion for birth work came after the birth of my daughter. While having a very long labor and delivery, my doula helped me persevere through uncertainty and the unknown. After understanding the value and importance of a doula, I was drawn to become a doula myself. I did extensive research throughout my pregnancy to help educate myself about empowered births, and informed decisions. My second pregnancy and birth, I came across new challenges and decisions I needed to make. Being a Type 1 diabetic, it made going through this process more challenging and finding my voice more necessary. I found myself having to find a balance between medical and holistic practices. I believe every woman has the right to choose what is best for mother and baby. I believe there is a deep emotional, physical and spiritual journey to bring life into the world. I am honored to be able to support women in doing so. I understand the importance of holding and nourishing the mother during this sacred time. I have passion for continuing to learn and grow within my practice. I am in the process of becoming a Certified Lactation Counselor, as I am motivated to help others in their breastfeeding journey. I love talking everything pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and beyond
Since becoming a mother, Marielle finds empowerment in pregnancy, birth and beyond, and aspires to help others find their strength in the process. She is passionate about helping you find your voice and make informed choices. Marielle is a certified Birth Doula and in the process of becoming a Certified Lactation Counselor.
