Having a baby in the NICU can be one of the most stressful experiences for a parent to go through. There may be times that going to the NICU might be an experience that a parent may have to do solo due to work or resting after birth etc. Just as with birth, there is a big unknown aspect and this feeling can bring on anxiety and fear. Our doulas are able to provide you with an emotional outlet either virtually, in your home or at the hospital. We are able to provide you with information, resources or a shoulder to lean on.
